Waking up!!!

With the issue of reservations getting bigger and bigger day-after-day, thought of writing some of my personal experiences.

Reservations are indeed required. Period. The questions..Why it is required and how it is to be implemented? Well..there are people with more brains and balls to decide and answer them.

Instead of going on the more serious note on writing about the caste-based reservations, I tried being more liberal, maybe futuristic (who knows if our present HRD minister succeeds) and so on.

We, Indians, are normally passionate and die-hard fans about two things - Yes, rightly guessed - The big B Bollywood and the big C Cricket.

Now, imagine if these two - shared by all and owned by none - dreams are brought under reservation purviews. What will happen?

To start with alphabetical order, what will happen to BOLLYWOOD?

Last overheard the following rumours floating around:

All the producers, directors, writers, heroes, heroines and technicians will be mandated to work in their (percentage-defined-by-government)% work assignment which should have people belonging to backward classes.

GOD saved our star sons and daughters....for if they made debuts today (trusting that the reservations are in place), chances are that their number would have come in their late fifties (provided they are not from backward class).

All the forward class superstars would be allowed to sign any new films after the director \ producer \ banners sign the reserved actors first. Only signing the defined percentage of films, will the other forward class actors can perform in a film.

This will not stop here. When the movies are released, the trailers and promos would be first released on channels which are owned by reserved class giants.
Next, during release, the movies will be released in theatres owned by the reserved classes. And, of course, separate lines would be maintained for reserved and general category. No prizes for guessing that preference would be given to reserved candidates when issuing tickets.

OK..OK..I knew I have bored you very heavily with this till now. But, hang on, maybe you are a livid Cricket lover than Bollywood. So you can find the other half interesting.

And no, I am only announcing what might be my next post be on. :D

Right now, me acting like our HRD minister...aka....announcing something without thinking anything about how, when, where and what is going to be impacted with the announcement.

I have announced about me writing the other half about Cricket but how, when, where and what to write about. I am myself not clear. Maybe I should meet him someday to learn this art effectively. Till then, enjoy unreserved BOLLYWOOD and CRICKET.

Do I know blogging?

After one full day of blog digging and enormous amount of Google searching, I finally gave up to my untrained, unpolished and untamed writing skills for writing the first post of my blog.

Having gone through numerous first posts of the fellow bloggers, I don't want to try something great and original (did I say out-of-the-world?) blog post. I found the first posts are normally passé and one thing for sure, the first posts are not great.

Anyways, have tried to keep the blog normal and who knows, it maybe below normal. Have also seen some people ending heir mails and blogs with some well-known quotes. I really love them and have an inclination towards quotes and shayari (urdu peotry). Concluding my first blog with one of my favourite quote:

"This is not the beginning and this is not the end. Perhaps this is end of the beginning" - Author unknown
(To be honest, I don't recall the author name. So one more reason to add comment to my first blog )
